Brocollini!

I've been really wanting to use brocollini in something because it always looks so cute lying there in the produce section. So I finally bought some yesterday and added it to the dish that has become affectionately known as the "juana special" at home. It's basically the dinner I make when I've forgotten to plan or haven't had time to run to the grocery store. It consists of pasta, chicken sausage (which I buy in bulk when it goes on sale & keep in the freezer), and anything else I find in the refrigerator.

Here are last night's ingredients:


I cooked the pasta, sauteed the sausage & brocollini in olive oil with garlic & red pepper, and - voila! - a dressed up juana special :)
