Milenka

Well, we found a nanny for James.  Her name is Milenka and she's from Bolivia.  She's young - maybe in her 30s - and has a 6-yr-old daughter called Andree & 2-yr-old son named Franco.  She watches our neighbor's daughter who is only a month older than James.  Dave & I both really liked her.  Her English isn't great, but she seems sweet & very competent.

The truth is, it was hard to meet Milenka.  Somehow it made it real that I'm definitely going back to work and leaving James with a stranger.  I'm sure it will work out OK and I'll get used to this new arrangement soon enough.  But that doesn't make the transition any easier :/
